St. Joseph's PTO Information for February
Between the pending storm, a planned night out at Chili's on Thursday, and the fact that there is not much new to discuss this month, there will not be a February PTO meeting. Of course if anyone ever has a question, suggestion, problem, comment, etc., please feel free to give us a call or send an e-mail.
Thanks,

Mandated Services
Dear Parent / Guardian:
Over the last several years, state lawmakers have failed to reimburse our schools for the costs we incur in complying with state-imposed mandates and participating in state programs. This reimbursement is critical to controlling the cost of tuition. To make matters worse, state lawmakers imposed a new “payroll” tax to bail out the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), which serves the 12 counties in and around New York City.

Re-Registration - As indicated in the letter mailed home in January, registration forms are due tomorrow, Friday, February 5th. As of today, we have received less than half of the possible returns. In order to properly plan for appropriate staff and materials, it is imperative that these forms are returned to school immediately.

It lays out the issues and the need for the Legislative Forum better than I ever could. Hope to see many of you tonight.
